Brittany and Miles are the type of couple that make me feel like I’m photographing celebrities. Brittany is obviously stunning and very camera aware as a professional model/actress, and Miles has more style in his thumb than I’ll ever have in my entire life. So of course, their wedding at the Addison in Boca Raton had to be just as stylish.
The Addison is well known in South Florida for their huge banyan trees, spectacular service, and even better food. (And trust me – I’ve had lots of “vendor meals” and can tell you no one does it better than the Addison) So when Brittany and Miles’ ceremony was scheduled during “blue hour”, I was excited to make some different photos than what people typically see at this venue. I was also especially excited to get the couple to the newly built red spiral staircase!
How did this couple break tradition? Let’s start with their bold details (those florals!), Miles’ red suit and skull cufflinks, the smaller wedding cake and dessert table for guests, their private last dance as guests waited with sparklers – I could go on and on.
