While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com
Kinda! Jennifer and Paul were married just over 11 years ago, and in 2022 wanted to renew their vows with all their friends and family in attendance. And Social House in Lake Worth was the perfect location for their wedd— vow renewal 😉
Social House in Lake Worth is actually a collaborative workspace that combines indoor and outdoor spaces to comfortably host events up to 100 people. The interior is bright and well lit, and the courtyard outside is great for intimate dinners.
I’ve been photographing Jennifer & Paul since their oldest was just a newborn. So it was truly an honor when Jennifer asked if I would photograph such a special event.
Jennifer is not the fussy type, and wasn’t huge on a ton of details, getting ready photos, bridesmaids, or even florals. I knew just spending time with their guests was their top priority, so after a few photos of their invitation suite we rolled right into their first look and photos with the kids.
Here’s some of my favorite moments from their “wedding” at Social House in Lake Worth, Florida. As always, vendors credited at the end.
After their lovely ceremony, guests were directed out front for cocktail hour. Since we already photographed their portraits earlier, J + P got to mingle as the live band played their favorite songs. Jess with La Valse events curated the cutest details from acrylic champagne labels to custom bar signage.
After an incredible dinner and heartfelt toasts from friends and family, Jennifer and Paul opened the dance floor! The couple showed their guests what kind of night they were getting into with a choreographed dance that WOW’ed. And that wasn’t the only surprise of the night – Jen and Paul had a milkshake truck roll up in the back just as those wedding treat cravings started to hit.
Instead of a traditional sparkler exit, guests were given sparklers cheered the couple on as they danced to Katy Perry’s “Firework”. 10/10 best late night energy!
