Living Sculpture Sanctuary Wedding

Weddings

Yarden and Scott’s Living Sculpture Sanctuary Wedding will go down as one of the most emotional events I’ve photographed.

Yarden and Scott are obviously soulmates, and one might wonder if their mothers had anything to do with it. Sadly, both lost their mothers in recent years, and their wedding day had lots of details that memorialized them. From signage to large portraits at the ceremony (it felt like their moms were there for the first look!), to a QR code that linked to video clips and photos of his mother for the Mother/Groom dance.

I love when couples make their wedding day THEIRS. Big game show lovers, they had a custom drink featuring Vanna White, (also the name of their gorgeous kitty!) They even entered the reception to the Wheel of Fortune theme song! Scott is a poet, and his poetry friends helped give a reading during the ceremony and the most beautiful speeches at the reception. They even had a friend giving out custom typewriter haikus.

It’s not very often I gush about the details on a wedding day. In fact, Living Sculpture Sanctuary doesn’t even need a ton of decor since it’s so special on its own. But these bright wildflower blooms by Ribeiro Events and all the personal touches had my assistant and I fan-girling over the floral and design teams all day – right down to the custom wax seals for the table cards!

Here are some of my favorite moments from their incredibly sentimental day at Living Sculpture Sanctuary in Davie, Florida. Vendors credited below, as usual.
