Leading up to their session, I wasn’t sure if family photos at Mizner Park in Boca Raton would be a good idea with a toddler, but I think we definitely caught some magic!

If this little family looks familiar, I’ve photographed Meredith since we were roommates back in the day, through their engagement session, wedding, gender reveal and newborn session with baby J!

Now that Meredith and Brandon’s son is almost 18 months old, he was ready for his time to shine in front of my camera. Mizner Park gave us beautiful light, not too many distractions, and of course, Sloan’s Ice Cream.

You’d think family photos at Mizner Park might be tricky with a toddler, but we quickly learned he doesn’t really love fountains anyway, and the parking lot at the top of the garage gave us plenty of space to run out some of that extra energy.

After some quick bites of Cookies-n-Cream, we met at the top of the Mizenr Park parking garage for some delicious light and wide open spaces for J and daddy to run around. I’m so thankful clients stick around past the wedding for their family photos, too – there’s really no getting rid of me 😉
