My Favorite Locations as a Palm Beach Family Photographer
The Beach
What’s Palm Beach Family Photography without, well, the beach? It kind of goes without saying, but, hell, I’ll say it anyway, The Palm Beaches are where you will find the BEST beaches in South Florida. There are nearly 30 tropical beach parks spanning 47 gorgeous miles along the Atlantic Ocean. From romantic, flowy apparel and sunsets to chill beachy toes in the sand and crashing waves, your picture-perfect ideas will come to life. Explore them all and find the ideal sandy shores and glittering waters to fit your mood and be a captivating backdrop for your family portraits. As a Palm Beach Family Photographer, this is one of my favorite locations to photograph families.
Mizner Park
You might think Mizner Park is the spot for shopping and dining in Boca Raton, but it’s also one of my Palm Beach family photography locations! Arrive early enough for ample parking and less crowds, or shoot in the afternoon for an ice cream treat and clear skies at the top of the parking garage. It’s the perfect mix of luxury and laid back.
Spanish River Library
You might be thinking, “the library?!” but hear me out – I’m not talking about inside. (Although that could be so cute!) I mean the amazing nature trail nearby. Park in the shade and walk just two minutes to incredible backgrounds for your family photography session. From pink fluffy grass in the fall, to the amazing golden light in the late afternoon, this Boca Raton family session location is such a hidden gem!
Mounts Botanical Gardens
Want something outdoorsy that shows a little more adventure, and at a great price? The picturesque possibilities will blow you away. Lush greenery, petals with popping colors, fun statues, mazes, gazebos, and more. This place has it all. From classic portrait vibes to goofy and silly, as long as everyone has fun, there will be smiles. Check out their unique spaces, and find the perfect Palm Beach backdrop to match your family’s vibes and style. This is absolutely one of my favorite locations for maternity sessions and family sessions alike!
Downtown West Palm Beach
Just a short drive from Mounts Botanical Gardens, the downtown area of West Palm Beach is such a fun place to shoot! With interesting lines, parking garages, and bold graffiti, there’s something for everyone in the family. Plus, you can stop for dinner at any one of the iconic restaurants around Clematis.
Lake Ida Dog Park
Nestled between Delray Beach and Boynton Beach, this park has it all – an no, I’m not talking about fenced in areas for your pup to run free. Want photos by the lake? Done. Beautiful golden light in the afternoon? Got it. There’s also a few wooden and stone/concrete bridges for a little variety to your Palm Beach family photos.
Worth Ave, Palm Beach
Take advantage of the Palm Beach aesthetic’s tropical glory at Worth Ave! Palm trees, truly beautiful architecture, and the overall ambiance make this place sing! Day or night, this place can be epic as well as bougie.

Big, small, decorated, or minimalist, your house is an extension of you that can be used as that extra touch to your backdrop to make it truly unique! Additionally, I can make any scene perfect to frame your family from inside to outside. Many people forget how beautiful their Palm Beach homes look when the entire family is caught having fun in the yard!
