Let me tell you a little love story that started at Louie Bossi’s, and ends with a fabulous wedding at the Riverside Hotel Fort Lauderdale.
I remember leaving my first meeting with this couple and thinking “yeah I want this wedding, but I also want to be their friend!” Vanessa and Dan are just cool.
Vanessa’s smile lights up any room, and Dan’s presence will turn any gathering into an all-out party. It’s also disgustingly obvious that these two are MADLY IN LOVE.
Their October wedding was a tribute to their love story. Vanessa and Dan met at a party, and a couple days later had their first date at Louie Bossi’s on Las Olas. (And you know I had to drag them back to the very table they shared their first date!) Their second date – a sushi spot on the same street. So it’s no surprise the couple chose the Riverside Hotel in the heart of Fort Lauderdale for their wedding venue.
And the church? Same church Vanessa grew up in. How special is it that she married the man of her dreams in the same space as her baptism and first communion?!
On what felt like the warmest October day in the history of south Florida, Vanessa & Dan’s expertly planned wedding (thanks to Abby at Blue Orchid Events & Design) was a dream to photograph. The Riverside Hotel is a pillar of Las Olas, and a fantastic Fort Lauderdale wedding venue if you’re looking for a downtown location.
My only regret? I didn’t grab a slice of pizza at Louie Bossi’s after their portraits.
