Some photographers dream of photographing destination weddings all over the world. I’m thrilled to have couples from all over celebrate their love right here in South Florida – especially a Marriott Harbor Beach Wedding!

I’ve worked this Fort Lauderdale wedding venue a few times for corporate conferences, so even the parking garage feels like home to me. With spacious ballrooms, plenty of options for rain plans, and an expansive oceanside terrace, there are plenty of spaces on the property for wedding day portraits.

Tara & Phil invited all their favorite people to witness their union at their Marriott Harbor Beach wedding, thousands of miles away from blustery Denver, Colorado. I bet guests were excited to get away from the cold and to get their feet in the sand that weekend!

Tara told me before the party (as I gushed about her bright, tropical feel of the reception) that she wanted it to look happy. And thanks to Palm Trees to Peonies, I’d say she succeeded. The bright pinks, purples, and bougainvilleas were such a nice change from the typical “lush and blush” wedding designs we see down here so often.

A little drizzle may have kept us indoors for the ceremony, but the live band at their reception kept everyone on their feet all night. Here’s some of my favorites from their Marriott Harbor Beach wedding in Fort Lauderdale:
