While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com
Just one month after Hurricane Irma slammed Florida, Karina and Karlos held their wedding at the Old Grove in Homestead. Thank goodness they had minimal damage to the gardens and avocado grove, as the lush greenery and rustic charm was the perfect venue for their wedding day.
Karina and Karlos opted not to do a first look, but still wanted to say a prayer together before their ceremony. We arranged them to meet in the hotel lobby and we got to witness sweet moments as they squeezed each other’s hands and spoke some words about their future.
Their ceremony was held in the middle of the lush landscape of Old Grove, with signs featuring Bible versus lined the aisle.
As if that wasn’t magical enough, we dodged the rain just in time for their intimate reception with details planned by Jo Irigoyen Events.
Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding at the Old Grove in Homestead.
