While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com
When it comes to choosing your location for your engagement session, think outside the box! This couple had a long distance relationship before their wedding, and Marie would visit Miami when she could. During those visits, they loved going out for oysters at their favorite restaurant, Mignonette.
The staff at Mignonette was nice enough to let us shoot before dinner service started. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves and first pick at their favorite oysters. To kick it up a notch, we ordered some champagne and definitely didn’t leave before ordering dessert!
After filling up on oysters (and a few bites of carrot cake), I followed Marie and Michael home to make her favorite cocktail. This was special for them because in the early days of dating, they found out they had the same favorite cocktail, the Pisco Sour. So it was really sweet to photograph them making drinks from scratch and hanging out at home together.
