While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com
There are maybe three reasons I’ll set an alarm and wake up early, and a sunrise engagement session on the beach is at the top of that list.
Elaine & Kevin were visiting Florida from Nashville and wanted to shoot their engagement session on one of our most iconic beaches – Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. We kept an eye on the weather all week and knew the threat of rain was very real – typical for September in South Florida. By the time we got to the beach that afternoon, it was a total washout.
Instead of letting the rain get us down, we had a quickie celebration in the parking garage. Sometimes all you need for fun photos is a bottle of champagne. We made plans to try again in the morning for their sunrise engagement session.
Can’t say I’m mad at the results. (Champagne photos at the end of this post)
