Florida Vacation Photographer | Documentary Session for the R Family

While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com

Jordan wrote to me asking for a session to document her family vacation in Fort Lauderdale. They rented a sweet beachside condo and wanted some memories documented around the town, eating ice cream, and playing on the beach. And what better way to get in the photos than to hire a Florida vacation photographer!

“It’s okay to give an almost three-year old ice cream for breakfast, right?”

YUP.

Our plans changed a bit after our walk to Sloan’s ice cream when we discovered we were about an hour too early – they were closed. But Izzy was sweet as could be and had no problem pushing our ice cream date to a couple hours later so she could bury daddy in the sand.

Photographing these documentary vacation sessions is so special to me – my own family had the privilege of vacationing once a year and I wish I had images like these with my parents (and sister!) I hope Izzy looks back on these 20 years from now and cherishes these memories as much as her parents do.

Are you planning your Florida vacation? I’d love to help you capture the memories and actually be IN the photos! Click below to inquire about these special documentary family sessions.
