I’ve been waiting for this Coral Gables wedding for almost a year and a half. Back in April 2017, I photographed Celina’s mom’s wedding to Juan, and fell in love with the family. The Coral Gables Country club was the perfect wedding venue for Celina and Carlin. With it’s garden-like courtyard for the ceremony, to the most delicious golden light across the street at the golf course, their wedding day, perfectly planned by Jessica of JG Eventi will go down as one of my favorites ever.
Celina got ready at her mom’s home, surrounded by her wedding party and of course, her grandma. Celina and Carlin opted to do a first touch instead of a “first look”, which was a sweet moment to photograph before the ceremony. As a Miami wedding photographer, I’ve seen a few of these, and I’m pretty sure they were both super nervous, as they hardly said a word and just squeezed each other’s hand…

After the cake cutting and bouquet toss, Celina sat in the chair waiting for the garter removal, but Carlin and his groomsmen had a secret – they choreographed an amazing dance to a medley of songs, complete with a boy-band microphone! Celina was SHOCKED AF, and it was definitely the highlight of the night!
