As a documentary family photographer in Florida, I’ve met some pretty incredible families! And I really mean it when I say I’m going to crush hard on your family. Just five minutes into their session, Samantha and Bradley were already showing me their strong personalities, and by the end of the day, I’m proud to say I’ve converted Dad into a DayintheLifer.
I’ve learned so much about parenting, children’s behavior, and family dynamics thanks to these documentary family sessions. There’s usually a recurring pattern – kids show off for an hour or so, dad needs time to warm up, errands need to be ran. But by the end of the day it just feels like hanging with a friend with a fancy camera, and the photos at the end truly reflect how special your home life really is.
