A Fort Lauderdale proposal story, all the way from Philadelphia! Anthony reached out to me weeks before his planned Florida vacation with his girlfriend to secure a photographer for his proposal. He mentioned she had no idea, and was excited to surprise her by asking her to marry him.
We exchanged a few emails, and then chatted on the phone so I could share screen shots of my favorite spots in Fort Lauderdale to propose. Anthony liked the city views of downtown Fort Lauderdale and knew it would be the perfect spot for him to pop the question.
When planning South Florida proposals, I ask a ton of questions so I can get to know the couple better. I also let my clients decide how they want it documented – whether I hide in bushes or pretend I’m photographing someone else. Anthony preferred that I stay hidden away until the time was right. Thankfully, he shared recent photos of the two of them and shared his location so I knew exactly where they’d be and who to look out for.
