While I've officially retired from wedding photography, I might make an exception for a truly special, intimate elopement that sparks my creativity. If you think your celebration fits the bill (or you’re feeling adventurous about breaking my no-wedding rule), feel free to reach out! Please note, I’m no longer accepting bookings for traditional weddings or events planned far in advance. Otherwise, feel free to check out our photo experiences at jujubooth.com
With almost 16 years of experience as a Florida wedding photographer, I tend to photograph engagement sessions in the same locations, time and time again. So when Brookie mentioned a Miami Golf Course as the venue for their engagement session, I was instantly inspired! Her fiancé Niclas is a golf professional, so it was the perfect location for their Miami golf course engagement photos just a couple weeks before their Miami wedding.
I quickly learned that an engagement session on a golf course can be a unique and romantic experience. The lush greenery and scenic views of the Miami Beach golf course create a stunning backdrop for photographs. The natural beauty of the surroundings helped to bring out the couple’s personalities, making for fun and authentic photos. (Can you believe these two said they were “awkward” in photos?!) The golf course also gave us a range of interesting settings, from sand traps to tee boxes, to create a diverse array of photographs.
The Miami Beach Golf Club is a beautiful public golf course located in the heart of Miami Beach. It was originally built in 1923 and was renovated in 2002 by golf course architect Arthur Hills. The course is known for its stunning landscaping and challenging layout.
The Miami Beach Golf Club features an 18-hole course that spans 6,903 yards and has a par of 72. It’s a classic Florida-style course with wide fairways, large greens, and plenty of water hazards and bunkers. The course also features beautiful views of downtown Miami and the Atlantic Ocean.
In addition to its golf course, The Miami Beach Golf Club also offers a driving range, putting green, chipping area, and lessons from PGA professionals. The clubhouse features a pro shop, restaurant, and bar. I can definitely envision a lovely wedding at this venue! In fact, Brookie and Nic chose the Club for their rehearsal dinner.
The Miami Beach Golf Club is a popular location for weddings, events, and engagement sessions. The beautiful scenery and classic architecture make for stunning backdrops for photos. Don’t believe me? Just check out some of my favorite photos from their engagement session!
I loved spending time with these two exploring the golf course and can’t wait for their Miami wedding soon. Hopefully this post inspires couples to think outside the (tee) box when it comes to their engagement session!
