Stefanie and Dwayne were married at The Bamboo Gallery in Davie, Florida. During their ceremony, they planted a tree! I’ll admit when I saw the “tree planting ceremony” in their questionnaire, I imagined Stefanie in a big white dress and shovel digging a hole in the ground… but I loved how it symbolized the roots of their relationship and how their love will continue to grow…
If there were a contest for Most Emotional Sonju Photography Bride, Stefanie would win. She’d also win Most Hilarious LOL Sonju Bride as well. From our very first text conversation, Stefanie would send me Princess Bride Memes, Carlton Dance GIFs, and awful (I mean AWFUL) wedding photo inspiration. I know I say this all the time to my couples, but when the wedding came to an end, I was a little sad. But I’m also excited for what’s next in Stefanie & Dwayne’s life and I’m ready to photograph all those happy tears as well.
